THERE IS STILL TIME (from verse 2)

The day is still young
Night is still a long way
Can I ask for a chance
To be with you, always

The sun still shines brightly
Darkness won’t come for quite some time
Won’t you please stay with me
And say that you’ll be mine

You can still feel the earth’s warmth
There’s still time before the coldness settles in
You’re my light when everything is dark
I’m the king and you’re my queen

The sun’s light still hasn’t waned
The shadow of the night has yet to arrive
Please, won’t you consider my request
So you’ll always be in my heart and mind

The sun is finally setting in the sky
But I know there’s still a minute before the hourglass empties
Please tell me your answer is “Yes”
So I can be with you, we’ll be together for all eternity

SCARRED (from verse 5)

More unbearable than the pain of a pierced heart
More painful than the torture of a twisted soul
More intolerable than the devastation of a mind rent apart
Tremors from the past emerges from the psyche’s gaping hole

No amount of philosophizing can solve the riddle
No amount of rationalizing can produce and answer
Faith, destiny, fantasy and reality matters little
Lost in a haze of swirling clouds come hither

Boundaries and barriers hinder the flow of life
Crossing over, breaking through seems like a faded dream
Constantly swarmed by problems of a world filled with strife
Trying to make it despite time’s breaking at the seams

THE TRUTH ABOUT ROMANCE (FOR HOPELESS ROMANTICS) (from verse 3)

You asked me once what my thoughts were on romance
I answered, it comes once in a lifetime, a one in a million chance
That electric touch, that melting glance, that intimate kiss
That feeling of warmth, happiness and eternal bliss

Is it romance when a damsel is saved from a dragon by a knight in shining armor?
Or when the slipper was placed on Cinderella’s foot by the prince in all his splendor?
Or when Aladdin and Jasmine met for the first time?
Or when Belle fell for the Beast who was ever so kind?

Is it all about that ever so powerful kiss?
That could turn a lowly frog into a handsome prince
That woke Sleeping Beauty from her eternal slumber
That stopped Snow White from being buried six feet under

Is it about its power to transcend age and race?
That made Ariel exchange her voice for a pair of legs
That endeared Jane to a man raised by apes
That created the spark between Lois and the man in the red cape

Romance are all these and more
Believe in the magic it has in store
When it knocks on your door never hesitate
For if you do, the moment will be lost and you will be too late

The Allora Nexus (excerpt from book 1)

The Allora Nexus, the gateway between the 3 dream worlds, is more commonly known as the Nexus. Here Dreamers find out their roles under the tutelage of the Dreammasters. It comprises a single structure at the center of which is the portals to the 3 dream worlds. The this structures is divided in to different halls corresponding to a Dream art. The portal to a respective dream world is in the form of a stained glass window in which its design is in the form of the map of that world. To enter a dream world a Dreamwalker need only touch the stained glass and think of their specific destination in that world.

Decided to try this Multiply thingy

I had nothing to do today so I decided to create a Multiply account. Also it seemed most of my friends have one so I wanted to try it out for myself. My blog entries from here on will more or less be about excerpts from my fantasy trilogy that I am writing as of now, although I might put up some of my poems.  I might also review books I've read and some occasional ravings and musings might also appear here. =) Btw, feel free to comment on anything written here. =)
