100 Days.. (1st set)

Last October 16, 2009 (Friday), Melai and I celebrated our 100 days..

We didn't have plans for that day. The only things on my itinerary was to attend my boss' wife's baby shower and to pickup my sister afterwards. So I was surprised when she texted me that she wanted to meet. =) When I picked her up, she had a surprise for me. She gave me a jug full of jellyace, 100 jellyaces. =) She's so sweet. =) That's one of the reasons that I love her. =)

I decided to write 100 things I love about my honeybunch. I divided them into 25 things per post. I was initially thinking of putting 10 per post but that would take too many posts. Hehe. =) Here are the 1st 25. I love you honey! =)

Saturday, July 4

It was her kuya's birthday. I drove to her house and I arrived at around 10am. I brought the car so we could drop off her kuya at MRT North Ave. I greeted her kuya and a little while before we were leaving her mom told me to come to her kuya's birthday dinner at Trinoma. I was happy because it was unexpected. =) After we dropped off her kuya, we went to Sm North to look for their gift for him. Afterwards we were deciding whether to watch a movie or not. I decided we wouldn't and she suggested we have lunch at Chocolate Kiss in Bahay ng Alumni in U.P. I was ecstatic because though I've stayed at U.P. for quite a long time, I've never eaten there and my first time to eat there would be with her. =)

At Choco Kiss I ordered Chicken Kiev and she ordered Beef Stroganoff and we both had Iced Tea. Choco Kiss's Iced Tea had honey which you pour in. By far the best iced tea I've tasted. =D After lunch we were deciding what to do and I told her let's go to College of Science specifically to the swing there (she loves swings). =) We sat on the swing together and we talked. We also took pictures. =) We then went to U.P Ayala TechnoPark to play some hoops (btw, if you didn't know, I totally love basketball =P). I was surprised when we were playing because she can shoot. She made a basket with only her 3rd attempt. =) We talked and shot some more hoops.

We then decided to go to Sunken Garden. So i parked beside NEC (National Engineering Center) now known as Juinio Hall. We were just in the car talking and relaxing and before we knew it we had decided to just stay in the car and talk. =) Then around 5:45 we were off to Trinoma to meet her family for dinner. It was my first time to have dinner with her whole family since her father was out of the country most of the time. He just arrived last friday to be able to celebrate her kuya's birthday with them. =)

It was a very cool day to have done so much in one day. =) It was such a happy day and more so since we were both happy while we were together. =)


Sunday, July 5

At around 9:30 am she txted me that I would be going with them to Bataan to visit their lola. Again it was unexpected. =) I arrived at her house at around 10:45 am. Then around 11 am we were off to Bataan. We stopped at Robinsons Star Mills for lunch. It was my first time there. =) We ate at Cabalen. After eating we were on the road again. We reached her lola's house around 1 pm. Her lola's was so cool! =) She was funny and makulit. =D We left at around 4pm. We had merienda at Pizza Hut in NLEX before going back to her house. I had Clack Forest Iced Coffee and it was delicious. =) For those that do not know, I don't drink coffee and that was my first time. =D When we got back to her house I stayed for a bit then I bid goodbye to her family.

I was really happy to have spent the whole day with her and her family. =) It was nice meeting her lola. =)


Thanks for 2 wonderful days with you. =) Truly it was a weekend to remember. =)

June 2

I was tired and weary when I got home around 11:30 pm. I was really anxious to talk with her when I got home (it may be cliche, but when I'm with her or when I hear her voice my weariness disappears). So I went to my room and when I flipped the light switch, I was taken aback. There were balloons hanging from the ceiling and a cutout greeting of "Happy Birthday" was on my bookshelf. I was already surprised from this, but then the best surprise came next. She was in my room and once again I was speechless. She came towards me and she whispered "happy birthday" and I gave her a hug (if she hadn't come towards me, I probably would have stood there motionless for a number of minutes. hahaha.). =) We then had dinner with my mom, dad and my sister. We ate pizza, chicken and mojos (I love mojos) which she ordered. =)

She would later tell me that she, my sister and my sister's boyfriend glenn setup the balloons. Thanks to my sis and glenn. =)

June 3

We waited until 12 midnight so that she would be the first person to greet me on my birthday. We then talked until the wee hours of the morning. We fell asleep and got up an hour later because we both had work.

Some time past 4pm..

I was chatting with her on the ym when the doors opened and my officemate/blockmate brought in pizzas which made me wonder what were the pizzas for. Then my officemate handed me his phone and it was her on the line. She greeted me again and while we were talking my other officemates came in with a cake. Then my manager handed me a basketball and on it were greetings written by my officemates. After we finished talking on the phone, I looked at the pizzas and cake (it was black forest, my favorite) at the table and I felt so overwhelmed that I could speak (I was clutching my chest the whole time. I was afraid that my heart would stop then and there.) and when my officemates where asking for a speech, all I could do was mutter thanks to everyone.

Thanks to felix and roanne for their huge part in setting up both surprises. =)
Thank you once again for another surprise. =) Two surprises in one day. I felt I was the luckiest guy in the world. =)

After work I fetched her at her office and we then had dinner with my family. To cap off my birthday we talked on the phone after we got home until the last minutes of my birthday. =)


This truly was the best birthday of my entire life. =) I was soooooo happy. =)

A Wonderful Surprise

Last Friday my officemates, bosses and I went to our officemate's house for videoke. The night before I already knew that she couldn't come with me because she had an interview. Around lunch time that day, I received good news, her interview was done (it was a phone interview). =) Then some time after 3pm she told me she wouldn't be able to come because the company that interviewed her that morning was going to interview her again that night. =( I was saddened and I was that way until we were at our officemate's house. Some time after we had sung a few songs, I had just finished sending a reply to her text, the door opened and there she was. I was so stunned and speechless that I was unable to do anything for 5 seconds. After the awe wore off I stood up and went to her at the door and asked her what she was doing here. She told me she wanted to surprise me so she asked my 2 officemates not to say that she was coming (even my boss became a part of the conspiracy).

It was such a wonderful surprise. I was smiling all through the night and until the next day. =) It was a very sweet thing that she did for me. That was a moment that will be forever ingrained in my heart. =) =) =) =) =)

A Day At Her House

Last sunday I went to her house. I decided to bring her a pizza from Yellow Cab. I was contemplating on whether I should order the 14" one or the 18" one. I thought the 14" pizza was a bit small. My mistake. The 18" pizza was too big. hahaha. =P I had a hard time carrying it inside the fx going to her place. I arrived at around 11am. I was knocking at her gate and calling out. After a few mins of being unsuccessful at getting noticed, I called her phone. My call woke her up. =) She then let me in and I greeted her younger brother. We then watched my favorite movie, Down to You. We then had lunch together with her mom, her older brother and her younger brother. An amazing thing happened during lunch. It's a well known fact that I don't drink iced tea, but I drank 3 glasses then. =) After eating lunch, we then continued watching the movie. After the movie we then went to mass with her mom and her older brother. It's a good feeling when you can go to mass with the person who's special to you. =) By the way, that was the 3rd straight sunday that I heard mass and it's all thanks to her. =) When we got back to her house, we then watched her favorite movie, My Bestfriend's Wedding. We then had dinner and I stayed for a bit after. I went home at around 9:30pm.

It was a happy and memorable day for me, for I was able to spend time with her and her family. =)

A Simple Call...

I had just finished eating merienda after waking up for the 3rd time today. While this morning I was feeling better, when I woke up this afternoon, I didn't feel well. My body felt weak and weary. Then at 3:54 pm you called out of the blue. I was suprised. Then I was happy. We chatted for a while. Afterwards I felt much better. Thanks..I will forever cherish that call. =)

A Night Of Firsts

first date + first time to give her flowers + first time at a restaurant + first time at a movie house = super special night

I fetched her at eng'g. I was carrying a pink rose as a surprise. When I arrived at our tambayan and when she saw the rose she was speechless. =) We then went to Trinoma for our first date. We had early dinner at Conti's. It was my first time eating there and it was doubly special because I was with her. =) We had american burger, hearty club, 2 strawberry shakes and choco almond sansrival. We had to take out our dessert because it was already 5:54pm and the movie we were going to watch was at 6pm. We rushed to Cinema 7. We were going to watch Angels & Demons. It was my first time to watch a movie in Trinoma. It was also my first time to watch with reclining seats. =) After the movie we stayed for a bit at Starbucks we ate our dessert and she had Caramel Frappe and I had Raspberry Black Currant. Then I accompanied her and waited till she got a ride home.

Super, super, super daming moments to remember. =) I am super happy today. =) I am really grateful to her. =)

Uncertainties
