So Blessed...

On wednesday, I'll be working at Astra Philippines, Inc.

A bit of a background. For a quite some time now, I've wanted to work in Astra. One reason is that I like their work environment. Second, I love that I will have a chance to work in Japan which is one place that I sooooooo want to go to (I've been quite obsessed to see sakura blossoms falling).

I didn't know if I would be hired by them. I took their exam on the last week of June. By the last week of July I was offered a contract to work in SC Johnson and still I haven't heard from Astra. So I thought may be they weren't interested in me. By the middle of August they contacted me asking for an interview. But alas, my contract with SC Johnson was until September 26 (it would be extended until October 21). I contacted them around first week of October saying I was still interested in joining their company. They interviewed me on October 6. They said they would contact me for feedback within the week. Friday passed and still no word (I was feeling stressed and queasy by then). They contacted me the week after, setting up another interview on October 20. Thoughts swirled in my mind, would this be another interview or an offer. When I entered the interview room, I saw the contract on the table (it was as if a great burden was lifted from me). =) Syempre, di ko pinahalata na ecstatic ako. Hehehe.

I thank God for His countless blessings on me (most of which I don't deserve).
